We have been here for several days now. We took the boat to Sacramento on Sunday, and it was a neat trip. It takes between 2 and 3 hours to get there from where we are camped.

We fished the Sacramento River yesterday but no luck. Lots of downed trees and debris in the river. We took lots of snacks and refreshment but we had to come home and cook some chicken once we got home.

We have caught a couple of fish here on the docks, and there were two that swam under the dock with our hook and got tied up in the docks and we couldn't get free. So bottom line is all the food we have got to eat has been store bought. Running out of time for catching anything since it will be rainy again tomorrow.

We have just finalized our dates for the next trip to the California Delta. This will be our third trip to the Delta but I think it might be the best.

I made reservations for one week starting Saturday Feb. 27 th. (due to weather conditions we left on Thursday the 25th) We plan to take the Pontoon boat and travel to Sacramento on one day and down to Marine World on another day. It is 2 to 3 hours one way to both locations.

Then we will be doing lots of relaxing and fishing on the days in between. We arent either one of us very good fishermen (women) but we enjoy relaxing, and listening to the music while we put the line in the water. There are 4 to 6 foot Sturgeon fish being caught as well as 5 to 10 pound strippers being caught in the area so we could accidentally hook something pretty big. Getting it into the boat/frying pan is an entirely different story.
I am not positive but I am fairly certain this is our RV site. The ramp going down to this dock comes from site 16 which is our sit.

If the weather cooperates, I think we might have to extend our stay a couple of days once we get into the vacation frame of mind. One week just dosen't seem like enough time to take in all that needs to be done.
